The Flying Hornets

Another beautiful day! 70 Flying Hornets swarmed the field running a bit of a interval work today. A mini meet on Saturday at the DMS beginning at 9:00am. This may be for some students their first introduction to a race. This will help them prepare for race day. Although this will be done on the CC course which is all grass our race will be on pavement. We will be venturing soon to the actual race site so students will have a better idea of the actual course and it’s length. Have a great day!

More Flying Hornets joining the nest.A bit crispy this morning but it wasn’t enough to deter our club from knocking out a quality run. Remember Saturday we’ll be meeting at the DMS to run a practice race. It will be timed. Hope to see you there,9:00am sharp!

October 10th A few brave Flying Hornets came out to run a time trial on the HHS cross country course. All successfully finished and walked away with a bench mark time for(1.7miles) better than half of The Gobble Wobble 5k distance. Special thanks to Coach Mastrian, Slezak, and Rodenbaugh for their help and support!

Saturday turned out to be a nice day. A few of the Flyers came out and ran on a beautiful fall morning in The Buhl Park. Most did 2.5 miles and a few started there first 2 mile run. Success!!!! They all made it. A little stretching and a good morning was had by all.
